Pushing ahead, despite the pandemic
Despite the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, we have seen unprecedented demand for our services, as companies seek a reliable and resilient solution for their manufacturing needs.
While the manufacturing industry as a whole has been struggling, we have seen our net revenue double in 2020, produced over 1.5 million custom parts and opened logistics centers in Amsterdam and Chicago for customs clearance and further quality control.
From Protolabs Network CEO and Co-founder Bram de Zwart:
“Although 2020 has been tough for the industry as a whole, we are proud to be one of the few companies that has experienced significant growth in these trying times and see it as strong validation of our business model. To have someone like Sarah, with her incredible wealth of expertise, join our board not only underlines that, but also sets us up to successfully pursue our ambitions in 2021.”
