This austenitic-ferritic - Duplex provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly stress corrosion cracking, corrosion fatigue and erosion and ensures high strength. This properties are due to its microstructure of roughly equal amounts of ferrite and austenite and the high chromium and molybdenum content of the chemical composition.
